SMS Messaging Policy
Last updated: June 18, 2026
Who sends these messages
Text messages are sent by the volunteer and planning team for Frisco Sits 2026, a community event organized by the Frisco Old Town Community (FOTC), a Texas non-profit. Messages are delivered through the TownTable platform on the team's behalf.
How you opt in
You provide express consent to receive text messages when you enter your mobile number and submit the volunteer sign-up form at https://www.towntable.org/e/frisco-otc/community-table-2026/volunteer. That form displays this consent language next to the phone field. We do not add anyone who has not entered their own number and submitted the form. Providing a mobile number is optional and is not a condition of any purchase.
What messages you'll receive
Event-related coordination only — for example: planning updates, schedule and meeting reminders, volunteer logistics, and day-of details for the event. We do not send marketing or promotional messages from third parties.
Message frequency
Frequency varies and is recurring based on event activity — typically a handful of messages per month, with more in the days surrounding the event.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. TownTable and the planning team do not charge you for these messages.
Opting out (STOP) and help (HELP)
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message; you will receive a confirmation and no further messages. Reply HELP for help. You can also reach the team any time through our contact form.
Privacy
Your mobile number and email are used only to coordinate the event. We never sell, rent, or share your phone number with third parties or other organizations, and your contact information is never displayed publicly on the site. Mobile information is not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
