Community Table 2026

Residents of the Rail District! Save the date - Sunday, Sept 27 - for the first annual Frisco Sits, Join Us! In partnership with Frisco Old Town Community (FOTC), we (the residents) will be hosting a dinner on Main Street. Think of it as a relaxed Sunday dinner in the backyard where you invite your friends and neighbors - only those friends and neighbors are ALL of Frisco. We want to show off what makes our corner of Frisco so special by sharing it with everyone for the evening. Event details forthcoming - but the dinner will be free to attend (funded through donations) and open to all. In a time of increasing division and cultural segregation, we want to throw open the metaphorical gates and work to create a greater sense of inclusion and community through sharing a meal. The event is inspired from an annual event that Buena Vista, CO does and here is a recent picture to provide a visual and event inspiration! The concept is a line of tables running down Main St (working with city for approval) and each table will be hosted by restaurant/caterer/individual etc. and will provide enough food for 6 to eat. Tickets will be available for free and necessary to make sure there is enough food for each person. Also, please let me know if you'd be interested in helping with the planning and/or execution!
